Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what the BabyRan game keeps in your account, how to have it deleted, and what happens when you visit this website or write to us.

1. Who we are and what this covers

“We,” “us” and “our” mean the BabyRan team. For questions or privacy requests, email [email protected].

This policy covers the BabyRan game on Android and iOS, this website (www.babyranmobile.com), and the messages you send us. The App Store, Google Play, Apple TestFlight and any other service you reach through the game are run by their own companies under their own privacy practices.

2. The game: what your account holds

Creating an account

Registering in the game asks for a username, a password, a second password used as a PIN, and an email address. The password and the PIN are stored in hashed form, not as readable text, and our staff cannot read them back. The email address identifies the account for support and for resetting a forgotten password.

Connecting and playing

When you sign in, the account records the IP address you connected from and an identifier of your device. Play itself creates your character names and appearance, level, class and school, items, in-game money, club and friend lists, your place in the world, and your saved settings.

Server records

The game servers keep operational records of events such as sign-ins, trades and other in-game transactions, and chat. They are used to run the game, restore progress after a fault, answer support requests, and investigate cheating, fraud and abuse.

On your phone and while downloading

Your settings, the downloaded game files and the app's logs stay on your own phone and are not sent to us unless you send them with a support request. The game downloads its data files from data.babyranmobile.com, which Cloudflare delivers; delivering them involves processing your IP address and device details, and protecting the service against abuse.

3. The game: how that information is used

We use it to create and keep your account, run the game and save your progress, keep the service secure, answer support requests, and investigate cheating, account theft and abuse. Where the law requires a legal basis, we process it to provide the service you asked for, for our legitimate interest in running it safely, to meet legal obligations, or with your consent where that is required.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use the game to build advertising profiles. Chat and public activity in the game are seen by other players, so treat them as public.

4. The game: deleting your account

To have your account deleted, email [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my BabyRan account” and your username. Never send your password or PIN. We may ask one question to confirm the account is yours, and we delete it within 30 days of that confirmation and tell you when it is done. The steps are also on the Delete your account page.

When an account is deleted, it is disabled so it can no longer sign in; the email address, the last recorded IP address and the device identifier are removed; the stored password and PIN are replaced with values nobody holds; and your characters are removed from play. Character names may stay in past rankings and logs, which are the game's history rather than account data.

Operational and security records we need to investigate abuse, settle disputes or meet a legal obligation may be kept for a limited time after deletion, and are then removed as described in section 7.

5. Who else is involved

Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers the game's data downloads. Hosting and network providers run the game servers. Apple and Google distribute the app when you install it from their stores. Each of them handles only what it needs to provide its service, and their systems may process information outside your country.

We may disclose relevant information when the law requires it, or when it is necessary to investigate abuse, protect people, or establish or defend legal rights.

6. This website

No accounts and no forms

The website has no sign-in, no sign-up form and no mailing list. It does not ask you for anything.

Cookies and browser storage

The website's own code sets no cookies, uses no analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, and saves nothing in your browser's storage. Its fonts and pictures are served with the site, not loaded from other companies.

Delivery and security

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Doing that involves processing technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page you asked for, the page that sent you, and the time. This can appear in Cloudflare's logs, which are used to deliver the pages, find problems and stop abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name your email account shows, your message and its attachments. We use them to answer you and to handle your request. Send only what your question needs, and never a password, a PIN or payment details.

7. Retention and security

Account and character information is kept while the account exists, and is handled as described in section 4 when the account is deleted. Operational and security records are kept only as long as their purpose needs, or as long as the law requires. Emails are kept as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and keep the relevant records.

Passwords and PINs are stored hashed, and the website and the game's downloads use HTTPS. No system is completely secure: choose a password you do not use anywhere else.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law where you live, you may ask to see, correct, delete or block your personal information, or for a copy of it, and you may object to some processing. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.

Send requests to [email protected], saying what you want and which information it is about. We may ask for what we reasonably need to confirm who you are, and answer within the time the law allows.

If Philippine data protection law applies, you may also raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission. You may contact the privacy authority where you live.

9. Children and young players

BabyRan is not made for young children. If you believe a child has made a game account or sent us personal information, contact us and we will review the account and remove it where appropriate. A parent or guardian may ask us about an account in their child's care.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its date when what we do with information changes. The game shows this policy when you first play, and again when it changes in a way you should read.

The rules for playing the game and using this website are in our Terms of Service.
